Great Vintage Hockey Sweater

There's a KAL at the Puck This! group over on Ravelry for vintage-style hockey sweaters. Some marvelous ones to be seen, more in progress. I started planning mine during the All-Star Weekend. After agonizing over yarn choices, I settled on Louet Riverstone in the light worsted weight, and made the decision to dye the yarn myself, which I'm still not entirely sure was a good idea. It's lovely kettle dyed semi-solid yarn, but did I really want that effect?
Anyhoo, it's started and I'm going with it.
